Installation Instructions for LonelyScreen
Step 1: Download the Installer
Step 2: Install the Program
- Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install LonelyScreen.
- The installation will start automatically. Once completed, the program will launch.
Step 3: Set Up LonelyScreen
- On the first launch, the main window of the program with the name “LonelyScreen” will appear. You can change the default name by clicking on it.
- Ensure that your computer and your iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 4: Use AirPlay for Screen Mirroring
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Control Center.
- Tap the “Screen Mirroring” button.
- Select “LonelyScreen” from the list of available devices.
Step 5: Play Content
- After selecting LonelyScreen, your iPhone or iPad screen will be displayed on your computer.
- You can now show presentations, play games, view photos, or watch videos on a larger screen.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the AirPlay icon doesn’t appear on your iOS device, make sure:
- Your device supports AirPlay (iPhone 4S or newer, iPad 2 or newer, iPad mini or newer, iPod Touch 5+).
- Your device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- You have the latest version of iOS installed.
- Your computer’s firewall allows LonelyScreen to establish a connection.
LonelyScreen offers a trial version with limited features. To gain full access, a license purchase is required.
